Trip Itinerary

Welcome to Paris! 

Once you arrive, you will be taken to your hotel. Overnight in Paris (CDG Area), France. (D)

Note: Standard check in time is at 1500 hrs. Dinner will be served directly or a packed meal will be provided in case of late or long queue at immigration.

Guided city tour of Paris – Eiffel Tower Level 2 – Seine River Cruise 

Today you will go on a guided tour of the city of Paris: see the Alexander Bridge, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde Square, Opera House, Invalides, and Champs-Elysees. After this, you will go to the second level of Eiffel Tower. Acruise on the Seine River will end the day later. Overnight stay in Paris, France (CDG Area). (B, L, D)

Note: Due to extreme security checks in the Eiffel Tower, the queue length can be up to 4-5 hours.

Visit Disneyland® Paris 01 Day 01 Park

Today we are going to visit Disneyland(R) Paris where you can visit either Disneyland(R) Park or Walt Disney(R) Studios(R) Park. Experience the magic of Sleeping Beauty Castle, enjoy thrilling roller-coaster rides, greet Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio and other characters in Fantasyland and travel the four corners of the world in Adventureland. Overnight stay in Paris (CDG Area), France. (B, D)

Proceed to Switzerland 

Today we are going to check out and travel to Engelberg. Upon arrival, you will check-in into the hotel. Overnight in Engelberg, Switzerland. (B, D)

Day at leisure OR Chance to visit Jungfraujoch with lunch and Interlaken (Optional)

Today you have the option of a leisure day or you may join us for a visit to Jungfraujoch – The Top of Europe. We will take the cable car followed by cogwheel train to a height of 3,454 m, the highest railway station in Europe. Visit the Ice Palace and the deck of the Sphinx observatory to see the longest glacier in the Alps and at the latest visit Interlaken. Overnight in Engelberg, Switzerland. (B, D)

Note: Guests who do not choose this excursion will be supplied a packed dinner delivered to the hotel when the group arrives.

Visit Mt. Titlis – Orientation Tour of Lucerne

Today we proceed to Mt. Titlis where you shall take cable car rides including the world’s first rotating cable car, the Rotair to the summit of Mt. Titlis at 3,020 m. Please visit the “Cliff Walk”, which is a suspension bridge on the cliff of Mt. Titlis. Next, we go on an orientation tour of Lucerne: see the Lion Monument, Kapell Brucke. Additionally, you can have some free time to explore the town and make purchases of Swiss knives, chocolates, and souvenirs. Overnight in the Swiss city of Zurich (B, L, D)

Orientation Tour of Bern – Orientation Tour of Zurich – View Rhine Falls

Today we drive to the Swiss capital of Bern where we make the orientation tour of the city. Next, we go on to Zurich for an orientation tour: see Lake Zurich, Graumunster and Fraumunster. Later, we continue to Schaffhausen in Switzerland to see the Rhine Falls. Overnight in Zurich, Switzerland. (B, L, D)

Return back home with pleasant memories!

Today we continue on to Zurich airport for your flight back home. Please take a few minutes to provide your feedback to your tour manager. Your appreciated suggestions will be most appreciated. Arrive home with happy memories of your European tour, which we are sure you will cherish for life. (B)

Note:

  • Due to flight connectivity, few groups may depart out of
    Frankfurt instead of Zurich. Kindly check with your sales staff for your
    exact flight details.
  • In major European cities, there are parking restrictions for coaches,
    and it is not possible to stop at all the places during the city tour. Your
    Tour Manager will try his/her best to stop coach wherever possible
    for a photo stop.
  • Arrival / Departure Transfers will be provided subject to minimum 4
    passengers travelling together.

Visa requirements:  You are required to have a multiple-entry Schengen visa. The price of this visa is not included in your price for a package tour. It would be best to consult your travel agent as well as the consulates closest to you for advice and information. Please make sure that you have your travel documents ready in time for departure.

Ticketing requirements: For this tour, you will need confirmed air tickets to come to Paris, and to leave from Zurich. It would be better to check with your sales officer or the local travel agent for ticketing.

  • Any increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangement which may come in to effect prior to departure
  • Tipping is expected from anyone providing your service e.g. coach driver, local guides, hotel and restaurant staff etc. It is compulsory to pay a symbolic amount of EUR 3 per person per day in tip. For the whole time of this 8 days tour, the total amount of tips amount to EUR24 per person, which has to be paid to the tour manager on Day 01 of the tour.
  • Anything not specifically mentioned in the “What your tour price includes” box.

IMPORTANT NOTES

HOTELS

  • The accommodation shall be situated either within the vicinity of the airport or on the periphery of the airport.
  • At the very least, the dominant accommodation in Europe is with twin beds, with double beds in Queen size rather than King size.
  • When accommodated as a third guest in a triple room, most hotels will provide rollaway beds; the dimensions of the room may be that of a double room.
  • Most hotel rooms in Europe may not have air conditioning or air cooled ventilation and fans will not be supplied. Air-cleaning arrangements shall be determined in accordance with the prevailing European climatic conditions.
  • Operation of air-cooling or air-conditioning installation is dependent on the official declaration of summer by the local authority.
  • The common room area for European hotels is between 16 and 20 square metres.
  • In Europe most hotels do not provide tea kettles in their rooms.
  • Till now, the tourist property insurance company has not been established.
  • It is provided that – (a) We reserve the right to replace the accommodation with a property of a class similar to the accommodation provided in case it is considered advisable or necessary.

COACHES

  • As most of your travelling in Europe will be by coach, passengers are requested to keep clean in the coach.
  • For hygienic reasons, the use of onboard toilets is not possible; however, the tour manager will organize comfort stops during long journeys.
  • Consumption of food and beverages on board is not allowed.
  • As a result of limited storage capacity in the coach, each passenger is allowed one check in bag and one handbag only.
  • Coaches are not wheelchair accessible. Passengers must go up and down steps to get on or off.

MEALS

  • Meals are predetermined; no a la carte is available.
  • Specific days – a packed lunch will be provided on specific days.

SIGHTSEEING

  • On some specific departures, the itinerary can and will be changed or reversed, however, all the services and inclusions will remain unchanged.
  • Generally, passengers may have to cover considerable distances to reach sightseeing attractions, amusement parks, and sometimes airports, in which case the tour manager will give timely instructions. It is recommended that you wear comfortable athletic shoes. The tour manager and driver shall endeavour to drive you as close to the monuments as possible.
  • In the case of missing a paid entrance due to sudden closure or non-availability the same will be replaced by another visit of similar value and / or type or a refund will be provided.

GENERAL

  • A local representative or driver will be present only to help in the initial stage of the tour.
  • Security alerts and unexpected closures may affect the itinerary.
  • Passengers should take extra precautions with personal belongings during the course of the tour, as all destinations may be prone to theft and snatching of bags. SOTC shall not be held liable for any loss of any possessions or baggage.
  • SOTC shall not be liable and responsible for any damage, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown, and any other irregularity that may arise during the execution of the tour arrangement due to weather condition, strike, war, quarantine, or any other cause, all loss, expenses, and damages shall be borne by the passengers. Passengers need to obtain insurance policies whilst on tour.
  • Management reserves the right to claim compensation for any additional expenditure on account of delays or changes in time or schedule of trains, aircraft, buses, ships or other services.
  • The Tour Manager and the company reserve the right to amend, alter, vary and withdraw any specific departure or advertised excursion. For passenger convenience the itinerary may be changed, however, all services shall be the same.
  • No refunds will be issued for any services (meals, sightseeing etc.) that are not utilized on the tour.
  • All optional activities need to be booked and paid to the Tour Manager on Day 1 of the tour. Payments shall be made in cash, in the currency indicated in your tour price, credit or debit cards are not accepted.
  • Optional tours are reserved in full and are subject to a 100% non-refundable, non-cancellation policy.
  • In case you have chosen to alter the date of the return reservation after confirmation the exact amount payable to the airline will be intimated at the time of confirmation.
