HOTELS

• The following are the requirements: – All hotels will be located either within the airport area or in the periphery of the airport.
• Most hotels in Europe provide twin beds only; double beds, if available, are King size and not Queen size.
• However, when a third person is being accommodated in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds, and the room size may be the same as a double room.
• Most hotel rooms in Europe may not be air – conditioned or air – cooled, nor will fans be provided. The operation of the air conditioning or cooling in hotels is controlled in accordance with the local summer declarations.
• The operation of air cooling or air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declarations of summer by the local authority.
• The average room size of the hotels in Europe is between 16 and 20 square metres.
• Very few hotels in Europe provide tea kettles in the rooms.
• Any damage done to the hotel rooms during your stay will be payable by the passengers.
• We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class, if we deem it advisable or necessary.

COACHES 

• For your travel within Europe, the majority of your travel will be by coach; as such, you are requested to keep the coach clean.
• For hygienic reasons, toilets on the coach cannot be used. However, the tour manager will make comfortable stops during long drives.
• Consumption of food and drinks on the coach is banned.
• One check-in bag and one handbag per person only, due to limited boot space on the coach.
• Coaches are non-wheelchair compliant. There are steps to board / alight from the coach.

MEALS 

• Meals are set; there is no a la carte meal
• On certain days, a packed lunch will be provided.

SIGHTSEEING 

• On some departures, the itinerary is subject to amendment or revision; all services and inclusions will remain the same.
• Generally visitors will be required to walk to the sightseeing sites, amusement parks and sometimes even to the airports over long distances which will be scheduled by the Tour Manager. It is recommended that you wear comfortable athletic shoes. The Tour Manager and driver will try to take you as close as possible to the monuments.
• In the event of missing the paid entrance due to sudden closure or unavailability, a similar visit will be scheduled and/or refund will be given.

GENERAL 

• A local representative/driver may assist you only in the first part of the tour.
• The itinerary can be affected by security alerts and unexpected closures.
• Please be careful with your personal belongings while on tour; each of the countries visited is prone to theft. SOTC shall not be liable in the loss of belongings or baggage.
• SOTC shall not be liable or responsible for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularities arising during the tour, whether caused by weather, strikes, war, quarantine or any other circumstance whatsoever. All such losses or expenses shall be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
• The management reserves the right to claim for all other expenditures incurred for delay or changes in the schedules of trains, airplanes, buses, ships, or other services.
• The Tour Manager and the company reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure or excursion advertised. For the convenience of the passengers, the itinerary can be altered; however, all the services will be the same.
• No refunds are given for any services not used, such as meals or sightseeing.
• All of the optional activities are to be booked and paid to the Tour Manager on Day 1 of the tour. Payments shall be made in cash in the currency indicated in your tour price, credit or debit cards are not accepted.
• Optional tours are booked on a 100% non-refundable and non-cancellable policy.
• If you decide to change the date for your return reservation after confirmation, the exact payable amount to the airline will be advised on confirmation.
