When you arrive at Menara Marrakech Airport, our English-speaking driver will be waiting to transfer you to the booked hotel. The driver will assist you with your luggage and drop you off at your hotel. You will have the evening free to rest and prepare for the grand days in Marrakech.
The second day will be Marrakech – Dades Gorges. On the tour, one can have an opportunity to visit the valley of Roses where roses and their fragrance are grown. Another beautiful site in the southern regions of Morocco is Dades Gorges stretches for 25kilometres. Between Boumalne and Imdiazen the country is beautiful; houses are of stones and are built into the rock and the Dadès River rises on the high limestone tablelands. The gorges are said to be very beautiful at evening and therefore there is advised that one should plan to spend the extra time to evening. For the night you will be located in a house in the surrounding of the gorges to have a glimpse of the local peace and friendliness.
After breakfast in the morning, you will head towards Merzouga, the starting point of the desert tours. During the drive, you will pass through Tinghir and visit Todgha Gorges. Upon reaching Merzouga, you will enjoy a stunning camel ride over the orange sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will sleep in a Berber village with tents set up under the stars, offering you the best view of the Sahara.
The next day after breakfast the client will be taken on a conducted tour of the desert dunes in the morning. This is where you will see the way of life of the nomadic people and the extreme changes in the geophysical features of the desert. The tour also includes the black village of Khamlia where Gnawa musicians will play for you music and drumming and then perform the Berber tea with you. You will move to Rissani to visit some weekly markets where the nomad attend for their marketing needs. Others of the optional stops include the lake found in Merzouga. Depending on your choice and the chosen programme you will spend the night in the Berber camp after the day filled with desert activities.
Visit Rissani, an imperial city rich in history. Shop in the local market and explore the Kasbah. Next, head to N’Kob, where you will learn about the Berber people and their culture.
Going back to Marrakech
You will travel back to Marrakech via the road of the thousand Kasbahs, where you can capture the most typical Moroccan architecture. This journey will bring you to Marrakech in the late evening, leaving you the night to reflect on your trip.
After breakfast, depending on the time of your flight, we will transfer you back to the airport for your outbound flight. Our team will assist you with your luggage and check you in for your flight, bringing an end to our services and your delightful Moroccan experience.
